Welcome to Seoul, 2022, where our story begins. Woo San, an orphaned gangster, relies on his skills as a thief to make a living by stealing and selling precious artifacts. Under the command of his gang superiors, he embarks on a mission to steal an ancient relic that once belonged to Yeong Jong, the 25th king of the Hwa-yeon kingdom.

Meanwhile, in the year 1852, during the reign of the Hwa-yeon Kingdom, Heo Myeon finds himself desperately searching for a precious family heirloom that his father had unknowingly sold to a dissatisfied customer. In a twist of fate, something inexplicable occurs, and San is transported back in time, precisely 170 years to the past. There, he unexpectedly encounters a captured Myeon.
